October 17, 2017 Board Meeting Agenda Item #15 Title APPROVAL OF THE 2017-2018 CONTRACT BETWEEN THE SARASOTA FAMILY YMCA, INC., AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY TO PROVIDE MCKINNEY-VENTO HOMELESS CHILDREN AND YOUTH EDUCATION SERVICES Description This contract for 2017-2018 services is part of the interagency agreement between the Sarasota Family YMCA, Inc., and the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida, to provide services for homeless children and youth. The initial agreement was approved by the Board on 7/20/2010 which shall continue as long as the Board receives Title X grant funds or until either party terminates the agreement as stipulated therein. Recommendation That the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida, approve the contract for 2017-2018 for McKinney-Vento Homeless Children and Youth Education Services as presented.
